Peter K. Carlisle
Co-Founder Head of Design, Social, and Community RelationsA native New Englander, Peter grew up in the Berkshires, only a stone's throw from the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Much of his love for old things and history originated from his parents; a passion which continued to develop after 10 years living in the United Kingdom, and China as both a student and educator. During the tail-end of the COVID-19 pandemic, Peter founded MOOAR, an antique shop à la Instagram before forming the eponymous, Peter K. Carlisle in 2025, which offers antiques and research services for collectors, and is driven by curiosity, authenticity, and the story behind the objects and their maker.
Peter lives in Brooklyn, New York, and is a graduate of The University of Edinburgh (MA Hons, Social & Architectural History), and The School of Oriental & African Studies, University of London (MA East Asian History). Peter looks forward to helping introduce YADA to the public as an inclusive space for antique dealers, and the wider community of antiquarians.
Lansing Moore, Jr.
Co-FounderHead of Marketing, Non-Profit Partnerships, and Corporate SponsorshipsRaised by parents in the world of antiques, Lansing co-founded YADA as a way to give back to a professional community that he considers family. He is a marketing professional with over ten years experience managing CRM, email, and web strategy, including at the New York Botanical Garden and Artsy. He serves on the board of three preservation organizations including: the Players Preservation Fund, the Onteora Heritage Preservation Trust, and the American Friends of the Georgian Group, where he has co-chaired the Young Georgians program since 2014.
Lansing’s years with the Young Georgians and on the Steering Committee of the Young Fellows of the Morgan Library have provided invaluable experience building membership groups and producing fundraising events.
